Official Web Launch

Hello,

Firstly, we'd like to thank everyone who supported us during the `open beta` and provided us with feedback for improvements and bug fixes.

We're planning on launching Jadebook officially on Monday, 2 June 2025. We've been polishing the web app for a couple months now and making sure the UI and Features are up to our standards.

In preparation for the launch, we've also shipped some special things:

• Updated Memory Generation to be way better and faster
• Added a quick onboarding process for new users
• New users start with a helpful journal entry simply explaining some features and capabilities of our editor
• All descriptions across the app have been updated to be more useful for new users
• Added voice transcription to let user's speak their entries
• Switched to using 2.5 Flash for the main AI model
• Support images and pdfs in chat

For the transcription, free users get browser-based transcription which isn't too great but works alright. For pro users, we have AI transcription using the OpenAI whisper model which has a very low error rate and also adds grammar so it'll be way more user friendly.

We've also started using the new 2.5 Flash model as the base model for Jadebook — It's way faster, has more knowledge, and supports files so user's can upload images and pdfs.

There's a lot more planned like a Calendar view but we'll get there eventually.

Depending on when you read this, we may or may not have already launched. We have a ProductHunt page where you can get notified or ask questions.
