Our journal platform prioritises security by encrypting sensitive information, including journal titles, content, notes, excerpts, summaries, goal titles, descriptions, and logs, using AES-256 bit encryption. This encryption is applied at both the entry level and during data transmission, ensuring that each document is encrypted uniquely. Users have the option to opt-out of encryption for full-text search capabilities, though keeping encryption enabled is recommended for enhanced security.
The Goal Feature introduces a new approach to personal development, focusing on long-term goals rather than short-term to-do lists. It encourages users to set generic, qualitative goals with a 3-6 month timeframe, allowing for experimentation and gradual progress tracking through journal-like entries. The feature also incorporates an AI Chat that uses active goals as context, providing insights and information to help users achieve their objectives while avoiding the pitfalls of quantitative goal-setting and the disappointment of not meeting specific numeric targets
Journal entries often contain valuable context from various sources, such as inspiring videos, quotes, or articles. The Notes feature allows users to keep track of these influences by creating small, categorised notes that can be referenced later, including types like General, Fact, Reference, Quote, Context, and Inspiration. While the Notes feature is free for all users, uploading files, images, or audio is reserved for Pro users, and users can disable the feature if needed through their settings.
